Pop-Up Restaurant in Basel

Design for a PopUp restaurant during Art Basel in a gothic church. In the nave, the long panels with apple-green upholstered chairs on a white pedestal form the heart of the restaurant. The end is a generous white radiant bar area. On the back is a lounge area with an ethanol fireplace and inviting armchairs. Transparent curtains zone the areas and the interior design thereby gets a playful ease to the historical atrifacts. Street art elements on furniture provide freshness and a lightheartedness – which is underlined by the color combination of berry tones and green.
